Transportation Project Manager (Phase I) - Chicago, IL
We invite you to join our dedicated team in Chicago as a Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and guide preliminary engineering and environmental studies (Phase I), focusing primarily on northeastern Illinois. You will mentor junior associates, manage daily client interactions, and lead the development of innovative solutions for complex projects on behalf of public agencies. Moreover, you will play a vital role in strategic initiatives aimed at fostering growth within our planning and preliminary engineering division.
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Engaging in Business Development and Marketing, including networking and preparing SOQs, proposals, and contracts.
- Researching local and state regulations relevant to projects.
- Presenting findings before elected officials and advisory boards, attending conferences, and participating in interviews.
- Conducting technical analyses across various specialist areas, including corridor studies, interchange design, multimodal planning, and feasibility studies.
- Managing project activities, encompassing cost control, project budget oversight, and quality assurance/quality control.
- Overseeing the budgeting and execution of projects while supervising assigned staff and subcontractors.
