BryceTech is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Total Workforce Protection Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Washington. In this pivotal role, the SME will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and comprehensive program oversight for the design, implementation, and evaluation of robust workforce health, safety, and well-being initiatives. This position will ensure compliance with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Total Worker Health® (TWH) framework by seamlessly integrating occupational safety, health promotion, and organizational policies aimed at safeguarding and enhancing the well-being of our total workforce. The SME will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, program managers, and external partners, translating evidence-based public health principles into effective workforce protection strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of total workforce protection programs in alignment with NIOSH Total Worker Health® definitions and best practices.
- Integrate elements of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, mental health, and health promotion into cohesive workforce health strategies.
- Advise leadership on emerging workforce health risks, trends, and effective mitigation strategies across diverse worker populations.
- Ensure adherence to NIOSH guidance, OSHA regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local workforce health and safety standards.
- Provide expert interpretation of occupational health data, surveillance findings, and risk assessments to inform policy and programmatic decisions.
- Develop and review technical documentation, guidance materials, and standard operating procedures related to workforce protection.
- Design and oversee evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness, outcomes, and return on investment of workforce health initiatives.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to drive continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including human resources, safety, medical, behavioral health, and leadership staff.
- Serve as a liaison with external partners, including government agencies, academic institutions, and professional organizations.
- Support workforce training and capacity-building efforts related to total workforce protection principles.
