About the job
About the Opportunity
This is not your typical sales position; it offers a unique chance to launch and manage a hyperlocal magazine in your community, supported by the resources of a well-established national company. You will have the opportunity to create something truly yours by developing your market, fostering client relationships, and working towards building a sustainable revenue stream.
If you are a relationship-oriented salesperson ready to commit to cultivating a business, this role combines sales, entrepreneurship, and community leadership into an unparalleled opportunity.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager (referred to as Area Directors at N2) to initiate, expand, and oversee a BeLocal publication in your local market. If selected, you will operate as a local publisher: generating revenue, establishing partnerships with local business owners, and crafting a magazine that encapsulates the spirit of your community.
Your initial focus will be on establishing your territory and building your client base. From that foundation, you will grow an asset that you own.
This hybrid role includes both in-person community engagement and work conducted from your home office.
Who You Are
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated: you thrive on creating and building, rather than just maintaining.
- A natural relationship-builder with a consultative sales approach.
- Passionate about assisting local businesses in their growth and success.
- Confident in leveraging N2's proven system and customizing it to fit your style.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct consultative meetings with local business owners to forge lasting advertising partnerships.
- Develop meaningful relationships within the community using a tested engagement model.
- Connect local businesses with their ideal clientele through your publication.
- Engage homeowners to capture genuine, community-focused content.
- Oversee your territory, manage the sales pipeline, and handle publication operations.
- Collaborate with N2's national team for design, production, training, and continuous support.
- Be the face of Stroll in your market, steering your publication’s growth.
What You’ll Love
- Ownership, Not Just Employment – Build and manage a local publication business in your area.
- Flexible Schedule – Design your workday around your personal life.
- Comprehensive Training – Access proven, repeatable systems to guide your success.
