Role Overview
The Technology Project Manager will join our team at one of our corporate offices in Long Beach, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Sacramento, CA; or Dallas, TX. This role is central to keeping projects on track and ensuring successful outcomes across a range of technology initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Lead project execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and deliver milestones on schedule.
- Serve as the main point of contact among IT, business units, vendors, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and status updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Identify and address project risks, issues, and constraints early.
- Oversee change requests, scope adjustments, and prioritization decisions.
- Escalate critical issues and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Manage relationships with system integrators, software vendors, and service providers.
- Oversee contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service level agreements (SLAs) for compliance.
- Track project financials, including forecasting and cost control.
- Coordinate deployments for infrastructure, applications, cloud migrations, ERP, HRIS, cybersecurity, and digital platforms.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Maintain thorough project documentation: charters, RAID logs, and executive dashboards.
- Enforce PMO standards, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
