Role overview
The Technology Project Manager will be based at one of Royal Electric Company’s corporate offices, including Long Beach, CA, Pleasanton, CA, Sacramento, CA, or Dallas, TX. This position plays a key role in guiding technology projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on schedule and deliver results.
What you will do
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and strategies for managing risks.
- Lead project execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and deliver milestones on time.
- Act as the main contact for IT teams, business units, vendors, and executive leaders.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and provide status updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Identify and address project risks, issues, and constraints early in the process.
- Oversee change requests, scope adjustments, and prioritization decisions.
- Escalate critical issues and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage relationships with system integrators, software vendors, and service providers.
- Oversee contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service level agreements (SLAs) for compliance.
- Track project financials, including forecasting and cost control.
- Coordinate deployments across infrastructure, applications, cloud migrations, ERP, HRIS, cybersecurity, and digital platforms.
- Ensure projects align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including charters, RAID logs, and executive dashboards.
- Enforce PMO standards, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
