Your Contribution

As a Technical Writer within our Product Enablement team, you'll partner with Product Managers and Engineering to develop content that enhances customer comprehension of our offerings. You'll implement effective content strategies that facilitate customer success through comprehensive documentation. We're looking for a candidate enthusiastic about clear communication and eager to leverage AI technologies to streamline our documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and refine release notes, user guides, administrator documentation, developer content, and UI strings for Axon products.
  • Foster customer empathy and continuously enhance documentation based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Customer Support, Training, Marketing, Account Management, and Sales.
  • Conduct content analysis and devise documentation strategies for new features and products.
  • Promote best practices in technical communication across Axon, including enhancements via AI workflows.
  • Work closely with the training team to optimize content reuse and develop efficient learning plans.
  • Utilize a content management system to create, review, and disseminate content across various platforms.
  • Support documentation translation processes and workflows.

Location: This position is based in one of our R&D hubs (Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Scottsdale, or Boston) and follows a hybrid work schedule. Team members are expected to collaborate onsite from Tuesday to Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays, unless otherwise accommodated.
