Your Role

As a Technical Writer on our Product Enablement team, you will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to craft content that enhances customer comprehension of our products and services. You will design effective content strategies and empower customer success through thorough documentation. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about clear communication and eager to employ AI technologies to enhance documentation efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain release notes, end-user guides, administrator manuals, developer documentation, and UI strings for Axon products.
  • Foster deep customer understanding and continuously refine documentation based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Customer Support, Training, Marketing, Account Management, and Sales.
  • Conduct content analysis and create documentation plans for new features and products.
  • Promote best practices for technical communication across Axon, including enhancements through AI workflows.
  • Partner with the training team to advocate for content reuse and develop efficient content and learning strategies.
  • Utilize a content management system to create, review, and distribute content across multiple platforms.
  • Assist in managing documentation translation workflows and processes.

Location: This position is based in one of our R&D hubs (Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Scottsdale, or Boston) and follows a hybrid work schedule. In-person collaboration is essential, and team members are expected to be onsite from Tuesday to Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays, unless an approved workplace accommodation is in place.
