Mission of the Role

As a Technical Training Specialist II, you will leverage your technical knowledge and enthusiasm for workforce development to craft ASM's training strategy for technicians. Your responsibilities will include designing programs, frameworks, and hands-on training content that enhance product quality, consistency, and delivery efficiency. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure that every technician is well-prepared for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technical training programs aimed at supporting critical processes and enhancing delivery quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain competency frameworks and assessment matrices for technician certification.
  • Oversee on-the-job training (OJT) and ensure adherence to structured development paths.
  • Report training progress, metrics, and outcomes to internal stakeholders.
  • Create course materials, work with subject matter experts, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Lead the workmanship training program for newly hired technicians.
  • Maintain and enhance training facilities and infrastructure.
  • Support or spearhead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
