What You Will Do: Own the Vision: Develop and maintain the roadmap for Core Services while balancing technical debt with new features, reliability enhancements, and operational efficiency. Clearly communicate your decisions and align stakeholders on the journey. Champion User Needs: Engage with engineering teams, customer support, marketing, operations, and end users to gain a deep understanding of their needs. Utilize these insights to prioritize improvements that minimize friction and enhance capabilities. Empower the Organization: Create shared services and frameworks that reduce duplication and expedite development. Translate complex technical concepts into business impacts and vice versa, bridging the gap between engineering and the broader organization. Drive Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and architecture teams on system design, API contracts, data models, and integration patterns, leveraging your technical expertise to influence system evolution. Measure Success: Establish key performance indicators for Core Services—including uptime, performance, developer satisfaction, and integration time—and use data to promote continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has: 3 or more years of experience in product management, particularly with foundational services, internal products, or technical systems. A strong technical background that enables effective collaboration with engineering teams on system architectures, APIs, and data models. Experience in conducting user research and translating findings into actionable product enhancements. Comfort with data analysis and using metrics to guide decision-making. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to align diverse stakeholders.
