QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or backend development; practical experience with cloud-native projects is highly advantageous. Thorough understanding of Kubernetes, including networking (CNI), storage (CSI), and service discovery mechanisms. Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code principles, particularly in utilizing Terraform. Familiarity with observability stacks and hands-on experience building monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana. Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (Bash/PowerShell/Python/Go); capable of developing and maintaining simple automation services. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and ArgoCD. A strong enthusiasm for technology, quick learning ability, and excellent problem-solving skills. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential.

Ubisoft is on the lookout for a talented Systems Administrator with a specialized focus on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to join our dynamic IT Games & Studios (ITG&S) team. In this pivotal role, you will support our game production infrastructure and TechOps activities that underlie a microservices-based online architecture. Your contributions will be essential in building, automating, and advancing the cloud-native framework that facilitates reliable, scalable, and high-performance game services.

As the successful candidate, you will take charge of designing and managing Kubernetes-based environments, creating automated CI/CD pipelines, and implementing observability platforms to ensure system reliability across development, testing, and production environments. You will closely collaborate with backend developers and production teams, playing a crucial role in streamlining delivery workflows and fostering operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will blend strong infrastructure expertise with robust automation and scripting skills. Comfort in working with cloud platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies, and contemporary DevOps toolchains is vital, along with a pragmatic, problem-solving approach in fast-paced production settings.

You will become part of a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team composed of technical professionals from various domains, contributing not just to everyday operations but also to long-term initiatives aimed at enhancing the scalability, efficiency, and resilience of our online systems.
