Role Overview: Surfacing Engineer

Location: Novi, MI or Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

The Surfacing Engineer will play a key role in developing the next generation of electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs at Scout Motors.

What You Will Do

  • Build precise, high-quality 3D CAD Class A surface models for both interior and exterior components, meeting engineering requirements and design intent.
  • Address and resolve surfacing issues by proposing solutions that satisfy engineering, manufacturing, and studio design needs.
  • Organize and prepare data for reviews and releases, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Lead data review sessions with engineering and design groups.
