This role involves administering, designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining the organization's Information Technology operations, including applications, network components, and VMware infrastructure. The Operations Manager will oversee performance tuning and monitor server system performance, focusing on uptime, failover protocols, antivirus measures, and anti-spamming efforts.Key Responsibilities:Administer and provide comprehensive support and maintenance for applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.Daily evaluation of system performance to guarantee optimal response times for production applications, while establishing and documenting procedures for data integrity, including system failover and backup/recovery strategies.Acquire, configure, and maintain servers for development, testing, and production environments.Ensure software updates are maintained, design and implement new system architectures, and track server usage and uptime.Plan, implement, administer, and optimize company servers and network infrastructures to enhance the performance of supported business applications.Establish and maintain fault tolerance, and manage user accounts effectively.Set up environments and equipment for public and/or private cloud systems, deploying them in an automated manner and adjusting as necessary.Establish and enforce standards for cloud operations aligned with specifications and parameters.Support a multi-discipline environment across various platforms and capabilities, potentially managing a team or enterprise-level team.Demonstrate strong management, leadership, coordination, and customer interaction skills for the ongoing operation of a large-scale, highly available system integrated with critical business systems.
