Qualifications:Required:Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Water Resource Engineering. Juniors, seniors, and recent graduates (within 1 year) are strongly encouraged to apply. Proficiency or coursework in AutoCAD (or similar software) and GIS is essential. A valid driver’s license and the ability to perform fieldwork are required. Preferred:Strong computer skills, particularly in spreadsheet applications, are desirable.

This exciting opportunity is designed for students eager to expand their skills and knowledge in the field of water resources engineering. As an intern, you will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of various water resource projects, which may encompass areas such as stormwater management, water and wastewater systems, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including environmental science professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, calculations, and design work
  • Preparing technical reports, figures, and documentation
  • Utilizing computer-aided design software (AutoCAD)
  • Performing GIS analysis
  • Participating in fieldwork and overseeing construction activities
  • Engaging in client meetings and interactions.
