Qualifications

Your Profile is Key to Our Success! A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in designing primary and secondary structures, including system installations. Strong understanding of aircraft cell configurations, load optimization, stress analysis, materials, manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, and in-service structural requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges. Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.

At Sogeclair, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Structural Designer to support the aircraft design process from initial conception to final production. Your expertise will ensure that our aircraft not only meets but exceeds all technical requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the design process, ensuring compliance with all technical specifications.
  • Provide innovative technical solutions for production line challenges related to structural design and system installations.
  • Mentor junior design engineers, offering technical direction to enhance their daily performance.
  • Coordinate design activities effectively by collaborating with various engineering departments, internal and external stakeholders, as well as Methods, Quality, and Procurement teams.
  • Work closely with Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Testing teams to drive project success.
  • Develop structural layouts, system designs, interface drawings, and detailed assembly drawings.
  • Participate in design reviews and program assessments with partners and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to functional management.
