Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize your network and in-depth knowledge of the retail and commerce sectors to identify and prioritize high-value merchant targets. Lead enterprise sales discussions with the credibility that comes from experiencing the operational challenges our clients face. Forge multi-faceted relationships within merchant organizations, engaging with teams in loyalty, digital, marketing, finance, and executive leadership. Contribute to the strategic positioning of Accrue's platform to resonate with buyers across retail, travel, DTC, and e-commerce sectors. Manage the sales process from initial conversation through negotiation to close. Collaborate with leadership to refine our go-to-market strategy based on market insights. Represent Accrue at industry events, leveraging existing relationships for competitive advantage. Desired Qualifications5+ years of relevant experience, particularly within large retail, travel, DTC, or e-commerce environments, focusing on loyalty, digital, partnerships, or vendor management.

Role Overview

The Strategic Partnerships Manager - Retail & Commerce will bring hands-on experience from the retail or commerce sector. This role calls for someone who understands how loyalty programs and payment systems work within large organizations, including how decisions are made, budgets are set, and new products are introduced.

  • Quickly identify and understand the needs of enterprise customers
  • Initiate conversations with key stakeholders and open doors for new business
  • Build and nurture relationships that lead to meaningful partnerships
