- This position is a fully onsite role, located at our San Diego office in Mission Valley.
- Your role will involve significant fieldwork, as you will spend ample time engaging with clients and potential prospects.
- While administrative and collaborative tasks will take place in our office, your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships and driving revenue through direct interactions.
- As a member of our Strategic Growth team, you will represent the face of Compass and play a critical role in our market expansion efforts. As an Account Executive, also referred to as a "Strategic Growth Manager," you will be charged with generating new revenue streams.
- Your primary responsibility will be to attract top-performing agents to Compass by effectively communicating our unique value proposition encompassing technology, marketing, culture, and growth opportunities. Successful SGMs have the ability to persuade high-performing agents to transition from their current brokerages to Compass, leveraging their independence as independent contractors.
- The advantage of this sales process is that you will deal directly with decision-makers, simplifying the sales approach.
METRICS
- This is a quota-carrying position, where your quarterly performance will be evaluated based on the number of principal agents you successfully recruit to Compass. Deal sizes typically range from $200K to over $3M, with an average closing time of approximately 30 days.
- Your quota can be achieved through the recruitment of individual agents or larger teams, determined by their performance over the past year, without any dependency on future productivity after joining Compass.
- Your role will also involve assisting agents in understanding how their business and clients would thrive by making the switch to Compass.
NUANCES
- This sales approach is more personalized than the standard process, as you will be interacting directly with decision-makers who operate as the CEOs of their own businesses. This requires a heightened level of empathy and understanding to successfully navigate the sales conversation.
