About the job

At Relativity Space, we are revolutionizing space travel with our innovative rockets designed to meet current demands and pioneer future advancements. Our Terran R vehicle is set to deliver customer payloads to orbit, addressing the increasing need for launch capacity. This is merely the beginning; achieving commercial success with Terran R will open new avenues for scientific exploration and technological innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is known.

By joining Relativity, you become part of a culture that emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and significant impact at all levels. Here, you are not just completing tasks; you are tackling unprecedented challenges and contributing to the development of a rocket, manufacturing processes, and an entire business from its foundation. Regardless of your role—whether in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or corporate functions—you will work collaboratively across teams, influence decision-making, and witness the tangible results of your contributions in record time. Relativity fosters an environment where creativity and technical expertise converge, allowing your voice to shape our collective narrative. This moment is unique; it’s early enough for you to leave your imprint on our products, processes, and culture, yet advanced enough that Terran R is becoming a reality and gaining momentum. The most impactful work of your career awaits; join us.

About the Team:

Our Quality team is dedicated to integrating quality at every stage of the design and production process for Terran R. Rather than merely inspecting at the end, we influence construction from the outset. The team collaborates closely with design, manufacturing, testing, and launch teams to maintain proximity to the hardware, comprehend constraints, and proactively guide decisions. As we transition from initial development into production and scale operations, now is the critical time to establish effective processes, controls, and inspections without compromising momentum. The team plays a vital role in managing risk, cultivating a culture of ownership, and ensuring that speed does not compromise reliability. Success in this role means creating a quality system that evolves alongside the Terran R program and Relativity as a whole.

About Relativity Space

Relativity Space is pioneering the future of aerospace by creating groundbreaking rockets that not only respond to today's demands but also facilitate tomorrow's scientific breakthroughs. Our commitment to innovation and efficiency drives us to develop the Terran R vehicle, designed to meet the growing need for launch capacity and to unlock new possibilities for exploration and discovery. Join a team that values creativity, technical excellence, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the aerospace industry.
