As the industry faces a significant infrastructure gap, we are redefining the hardware landscape with our revolutionary Optical Tensor Processing Unit (OTPU). This innovative technology promises unmatched performance and energy efficiency, setting the stage for the economic opportunities of the next century.

Role Overview

Join us as a Staff Engineer in Hardware Integration, where you will be the leading technical authority in your team, specializing in hardware-software integration across a critical segment of the OTPU stack. Your expertise will guide projects from pre-silicon design to post-silicon validation and sustainment engineering.

We seek an experienced engineer who can set the technical vision for the team and tackle the most challenging engineering issues. Collaborating with the Engineering Manager, you will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, drive technical decisions, and ensure the creation of reliable, maintainable solutions. Your hands-on expertise, sound engineering judgment, and influence through high-quality work will be pivotal to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold Technical Excellence. Define the principles, interface agreements, and standards for the team—be it in firmware interfaces, ASIC validation methods, or interconnect fabric integration—ensuring consistent application across projects.

  • Make Informed Technical Decisions. Own critical decision-making within your domain, which may include BSP and firmware architecture, ASIC validation approaches, or BMC platform design.

  • Foster Team Alignment. Cultivate a shared understanding among engineers by ensuring clarity and rigor in technical discussions, facilitating well-reasoned decisions.
