About the Team: 

The Tooling and Factory Automation team operates at the crossroads of design, manufacturing, and automation, creating everything from large structural fixtures to specialized tools that facilitate the production of Terran R. As a design group within the manufacturing organization, we delve into the needs of our internal partners, identifying core issues, proposing innovative solutions, and delivering hardware that enhances our ability to build faster, scale smarter, and improve operational efficiency. This team is also at the forefront of Relativity’s expanding factory automation initiatives, a vital component in scaling the production of Terran R across both current and future facilities. You will have the autonomy to make impactful decisions, implement solutions, and see them realized on the factory floor. Ultimately, you will not just be designing tools or automated processes; you will be instrumental in defining how rockets and factories are constructed.
