ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Electrical Hardware Design team to establish engineering and delivery timelines, meticulously track engineering progress, and align deliveries with vehicle schedules. Lead the development of custom module designs including in-house PCBA designs and mechanical assemblies. Proactively identify programmatic risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues to eliminate roadblocks and maintain timelines. Engage with vehicle line, software, electrical, and other teams to coordinate efforts and drive critical paths, ensuring synchronized deliveries. Facilitate the development and integration of ECUs through design reviews, guaranteeing that all pre-production builds are adequately supported for successful vehicle launches. Coordinate with suppliers and the supply chain to secure timely delivery of components and assemblies for prototype development.

Role overview

The Staff Electrical Hardware Technical Program Manager, ECU, joins the Electrical Hardware Technical Program Management group. This position guides the development and execution of electronic control units for vehicles, requiring sound judgment and a proactive mindset. The role involves influencing teams and decisions without direct authority.

Serving as the Electrical Hardware team’s representative in cross-functional discussions, the Technical Program Manager champions vehicle program priorities throughout the entire product development process.
