We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Special Education Team.
 
Position Overview
 
Under the supervision of the Director and Associate Director of Special Education, the Speech-Language Pathologist will deliver specialized instruction and support to students with speech and language disorders, including but not limited to voice, pragmatics/social communication, expressive/receptive language, and fluency challenges. Key responsibilities include conducting language assessments, assisting in the development of Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with educators and families to create effective strategies that promote access to the general education curriculum.
 
Key Responsibilities:

     • Provide consultation to educators and families regarding speech and language development, including accommodations and modifications in the classroom environment.
     • Implement a systematic, multi-tiered pre-referral consultation and intervention process.
     • Conduct comprehensive evaluations in collaboration with other educational professionals as per California Education Code standards.
