The Solutions Engineer will spearhead the design, development, and execution of innovative service and solution offerings, ensuring their seamless incorporation into the overarching enterprise system requirements. This role demands a combination of creativity and analytical thinking, thriving in both technical and business spheres, with an emphasis on fostering innovation and technical excellence while aligning architectural solutions with strategic business objectives. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will be instrumental in cultivating a robust partner and vendor ecosystem, collaborating with external stakeholders to co-create effective solutions for clients and tender opportunities. This position calls for strong leadership in identifying best practices and emerging technologies, along with mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Solution Design:
    • Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive service solutions, encompassing both infrastructure and application-related components.
    • Develop and deliver high-quality solutions tailored to address clients' specific business needs and technical challenges.
    • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technological solutions, effectively translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Partner Ecosystem Development:
  • Consultation and Pre-Sales Oversight:
    • Collaborate closely with customer success consultants and service delivery teams to grasp detailed technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
    • Provide technical insights during the sales and business development processes, identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and supporting sales initiatives.
    • Create solution presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept materials to demonstrate how the solutions meet client needs.
  • Project Management and Delivery Oversight:
    • Manage the entire project lifecycle from solution design to implementation, ensuring adherence to technical standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
    • Align architectural deliverables (e.g., Statement of Work, designs, and schedules) with contractual obligations for clarity and agreement.
    • Collaborate with Customer Success and Service Delivery teams to facilitate a smooth transition from solution design to execution and post-implementation support.
  • Innovation and Technological Advancement:
    • Stay abreast of technological advancements, industry trends, and market developments, recommending and leading the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies within the IT ecosystem.
    • Propose and implement innovative solutions to address unique and complex technical challenges with long-term organizational impact.
