Your Role as a Solutions Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Solutions Engineer who will collaborate with our premier Financial Services clients to ensure they derive significant business value from our AI offerings. Your expertise will guide senior business leaders in understanding their pre-sales requirements, shaping their AI strategies, and pinpointing the most impactful use cases and applications. You will partner with both technical and business teams to showcase the value our solutions bring, while recommending architectural frameworks to facilitate their implementation.

This position is based in either San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY, with a hybrid work model of three days in the office each week, and we provide relocation assistance for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an outstanding pre-sales experience for large Financial Services clients by offering technical insights, clarifying our value proposition, and addressing product, API, and LLM inquiries.

  • Illustrate how OpenAI’s product suite aligns with customer business objectives, delivering measurable value through demos, use case scoping, architectural recommendations, and comprehensive technical advice.

  • Develop and sustain documentation, guides, and FAQs that address common inquiries and requirements identified during the pre-sales phase.

  • Cultivate and maintain robust customer relationships throughout the evaluation, validation, and purchasing journey.

  • Advocate for customer needs within our organization by collecting and conveying feedback, identifying trends, and integrating insights into product development initiatives.

  • Act as the primary contact for security and compliance inquiries, providing standardized information, directing clients to relevant resources (e.g., trust portal), and escalating complex issues as necessary.
