Position Overview
As retail media networks expand, the intricacy of operations grows. With an increase in stakeholders and deeper integrations, there’s more revenue directly linked to performance metrics. Successful launches must not only occur but also operate, optimize, and scale seamlessly.
At Vantage, Delivery signifies the shift from technical validation to operational execution. It encompasses the process of architecting integrations that drive optimized performance and scalable revenue growth.
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Solutions Engineer to be an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding retailers and brands to effectively adopt and leverage our platform. You will blend technical expertise with sales insight to develop customized solutions, ensuring seamless product demonstrations, intricate integrations, and enduring client success in the fast-paced retail media environment.
Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating closely with prospects alongside our Sales leader, setting up demo environments that reflect the complexities of contemporary retail data, crafting tailored solutions, and influencing Vantage’s roadmap as a technical authority and client advocate.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design & Demo Setup: Create and manage demo environments that replicate real-world retail scenarios, including multi-channel campaign management and audience targeting.
Software Demonstrations: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during detailed technical presentations, specifically illustrating how our solution integrates with existing retail technology stacks (e.g., CDPs, POS systems, and e-commerce platforms).
Technical Discovery: Collaborate with Sales to identify and address prospect challenges related to closed-loop attribution, brand safety, and margin transparency.
Solution Architecture: Develop architectures that reduce custom work while enhancing data flow between on-site search, off-site programmatic, and in-store digital touchpoints.
RFP & Documentation: Lead the technical responses for RFPs, ensuring clarity on data privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA) and clean room capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a technical role, ideally within the retail media or advertising technology sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with various retail technologies, including CDPs, POS systems, and e-commerce platforms.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
