Rowspace is hiring a Solutions Engineer in New York City. This role bridges technical skills and commercial strategy, helping financial services clients connect their investment workflows with the Rowspace platform. The position blends hands-on technical work with client-facing responsibilities, using real client data to show how Rowspace delivers value.

Expect to work directly with founders and engineers to demo, build, and refine the product. The job covers the full technical customer lifecycle, from first engagement through adoption and ongoing growth. Autonomy is high, and each day brings new challenges as you help transform complex documents, PDFs, CapIQ feeds, Excel models, SharePoint files, into actionable insights for clients.

What You Will Do

  • Lead technical discovery sessions and product demos, analyzing customer workflows and data sources to illustrate Rowspace’s value for finance professionals.
  • Own the proof of concept process, using prospective client data to demonstrate business impact and acting as the main technical point of contact from start to finish.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop deal strategies, gaining insight into prospect priorities and positioning Rowspace against existing solutions.
  • Support customer adoption and growth by maintaining strong relationships after the sale, helping clients rethink workflows, and spotting opportunities to expand usage.
  • Act as the customer’s advocate, collecting feedback and partnering with engineering and product teams to influence feature development and the product roadmap.
  • Develop reusable technical resources and playbooks to speed up future sales cycles and build team knowledge.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (such as sales engineer, solutions architect, implementation consultant) or in financial engineering/data science with client interaction.
  • Strong technical skills, comfortable with tools like Claude Code and Cursor, and experienced working with complex data formats (PDFs, Excel models, CapIQ feeds).
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including RAG, embeddings, LLMs, and unstructured data.
