The Solutions Architect for SAP Business Processes plays a pivotal role in aligning client business needs with innovative SAP technology solutions within the realms of Budgeting and Financial Planning. The ideal candidate will assess client requirements, recommend impactful business enhancements anchored in technology, lead software evaluations, and architect tailored technology solutions. This role encompasses both pre-sales initiatives and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
• Develop, review, and implement SAP Financial Planning solutions (SAP BPC or SAP SAC Planning) tailored to customer needs, including proposal writing, presentations, and Proof-of-Concept demonstrations to validate technical feasibility.
• Recommend optimal SAP solutions and technology selections, estimating resources necessary to meet client specifications.
• Facilitate business workshops and assessments to gather insights.
• Provide alternatives regarding cost, benefits, and risks when multiple solutions are available.
• Communicate the positive impacts of NCS solutions on achieving client business objectives.
• Deliver pre-sales consultancy services to clients globally.
Customer/Vendor Management
• Engage effectively with stakeholders during sales and project decision-making processes.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships by anticipating and exceeding expectations.
• Identify, build, and manage partnerships with product vendors to enhance NCS’s technological capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Business Development
• Actively seek opportunities for expanding or improving services offered to clients, collaborating with Account Managers to develop these opportunities.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, taking the lead on key opportunities as necessary.
Team Leadership
• Mentor and coach fellow Solution Architects.
• Conduct enablement sessions for NCS presales teams, articulating service offerings and positioning them against competitor solutions.
• Continuously enhance materials for enablement sessions to ensure quality and relevance.
• Maintain reusable components to streamline the sales process and ensure consistent service quality for clients.
• Contribute to global competency enablement within the NCS community.
• Develop and manage a focused competency community to support business growth and strengthen the NCS brand.
