About the job

Merge stands at the forefront of providing innovative agentic tools and seamless customer integrations designed for leading LLMs, Fortune 500 enterprises, and B2B SaaS providers. Our sophisticated platform features two primary offerings: Merge Unified, which allows businesses to effortlessly integrate hundreds of tools through a single API, and Merge Agent Handler, which grants AI agents secure access to an extensive array of third-party solutions. Our enterprise-grade platform guarantees a comprehensive integration lifecycle management, encompassing authentication, security, monitoring, and maintenance. Trusted by thousands, Merge accelerates product development, enhances sales efficiency, reduces customer attrition, and conserves engineering resources, enabling companies to concentrate on their core products.

We are in search of a motivated Software Engineer to spearhead our Partnerships team...

  • Merge currently powers integrations for thousands of products. The next phase involves expanding Merge's presence across platforms where developers and AI agents are actively building: within workflow platforms, agent frameworks, cloud marketplaces, and partner ecosystems. As a founding engineer, you will take charge of creating the integrations that embed Merge into these popular third-party platforms and develop essential product features that facilitate these integrations. This role transcends merely adding connectors to our existing catalog; it’s about significantly expanding the arenas in which Merge operates by integrating our capabilities into the most critical ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production integrations to incorporate Merge into third-party ecosystems: agent builders, workflow automation platforms, cloud marketplaces, and developer toolchains.
  • Design and launch core product features that open new distribution channels and enable Merge to function natively in environments beyond our dashboard and API.
  • Collaborate closely with external partner engineering teams to define technical requirements, create joint integrations, and position Merge within partner storefronts and marketplaces.
  • Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of partnership integrations, from architecture and prototyping to submission, review, and production launch.
  • Identify and develop abstractions, SDKs, and developer interfaces that expedite the integration of Merge into new platforms, minimizing the time-to-launch for each ecosystem partnership.
  • Work alongside the partnerships, product, and go-to-market teams to prioritize ecosystem entries based on customer demand, strategic importance, and technical viability.
