Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting.
- Mix and apply automotive paints using advanced spray guns and painting tools.
- Utilize techniques such as wet sanding and buffing to ensure flawless paint application.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work for any imperfections, performing touch-ups as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold quality standards.
- Adhere to company protocols and safety guidelines consistently.
- Keep the paint booth and work area organized and clean.
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an Auto Body Painter or in a comparable role.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive paint products, applications, and techniques.
- Skilled in preparing surfaces and mixing paints to achieve precise colors and finishes.
- Ability to produce high-quality paint jobs while meeting set deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in identifying and correcting paint defects.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and troubleshooting skills.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Physical endurance to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is required.
