Site Support Engineer | Monterrey, Nuevo León
Join icorp, a leading company in the Information Technology sector, as a Site Support Engineer. In this dynamic role, you will be part of the Infrastructure and Technical Support team, providing on-site assistance to users and ensuring the operational continuity of technological services within client facilities.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Your role will involve delivering specialized technical support to ensure the seamless operation of technological services while maintaining IT infrastructure (equipment, networks, communications, and platforms) through efficient incident management, asset administration, and vendor coordination, thereby contributing to business operation continuity.
WORKING HOURS
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on-site technical support for end-users regarding hardware and software issues.
- Address and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests.
- Configure and maintain computing devices, printers, telephony systems, and videoconferencing solutions.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 tools.
- Log, classify, and track incidents using ticket management tools.
- Document incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when necessary.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including assignments, changes, and disposals.
- Coordinate warranties, maintenance, and support with external vendors.
- Verify and maintain operational network infrastructure (switches, routers, access points).
- Keep LAN, WAN, and WLAN network diagrams up to date.
- Oversee technological infrastructure operations in offices and data centers.
- Participate in assigned infrastructure projects or technological improvements as directed by the client.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or Engineering in Systems, Computing, Communications, Networks, or a related field (completed).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in on-site infrastructure or technical support.
- Experience in technological infrastructure, networks, or communications.
- Intermediate English proficiency (technical reading and basic communication).
- Availability for on-site work at the client's facility.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Basic Active Directory administration.
- Familiarity with Windows 10 or newer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
