About the Role
EquipmentShare is hiring a Service Manager for the Santa Ana, CA rental facility. This position leads a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians (Mechanics) and plays a key part in supporting contractors and communities in the construction industry. The Service Manager helps drive both team and customer success through effective leadership and operational oversight.
Compensation and Schedule
- Salary range: $75,000-105,000/year (final offer may vary based on experience and location)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
What You Will Do
- Supervise and coordinate the work of equipment mechanics and service staff
- Schedule repairs for both customer-owned and company-owned rental equipment
- Use technology to create, assign, and track work orders, monitor service intervals, order parts, and diagnose equipment issues across various makes and models
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction with service and communicating new ways EquipmentShare can support their operations
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Facilitate employee training and development while maintaining a safe work environment
- Take on additional duties as assigned
