About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Account Manager to oversee the daily management of comprehensive on-site and off-site SEO strategies. This role will focus on delivering thought leadership through innovative strategy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapidly acquire a deep understanding of client products, market dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.
- Design, manage, and implement effective SEO strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Clearly communicate SEO strategies, timelines, and outcomes to clients.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to optimize existing content and identify new opportunities.
- Advise and implement content development strategies that align with client goals.
- Create and execute link-building strategies and campaigns.
- Implement and manage search engine programs including XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, and webmaster tools.
- Assess and report on the performance of SEO campaigns to clients.
- Participate in sales meetings and spearhead SEO-focused business development initiatives.
- Train team members on SEO fundamentals and effective client communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce SEO-centric case studies and promotional materials.
- Proactively anticipate and address client needs and concerns, assisting the team in formulating responses.
- Attend client and agency meetings to present long-term results, campaign strategies, and tactical adjustments.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to leverage for significant account improvements.
