NordVPN, part of Nord Security, develops VPN services and privacy tools designed to keep users secure and in control. The Threat Intelligence team combines data science, malware research, and privacy expertise to monitor and analyze new online threats as they emerge.
This Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher role is based in Warsaw. The position plays a key part in shaping NordVPN’s Threat Protection features, with a direct impact on the online safety and privacy of millions of users.
What you will do
- Serve as the lead expert on Threat Intelligence topics, guiding research into areas such as phishing and online scams.
- Turn research findings into actionable strategies that strengthen the Threat Protection product.
- Collaborate with Marketing and PR to communicate cybersecurity trends through clear, data-driven stories.
- Publish concise, evidence-based updates on significant threats and safety advice across social media.
- Contribute to educational video content, including scriptwriting and occasional on-camera work.
- Work alongside Data Science and Engineering teams to advance machine learning applications in Threat Intelligence.
- Assess and introduce new tools, data sources, and workflows to boost team performance.
- Mentor junior researchers and support their professional development.
