Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.5+ years of industry experience, emphasizing hardware validation and system integration testing. Proficient programming skills in Python and familiarity with other scripting languages. Knowledge of at least one compiled programming language (C/C++/Rust). Hands-on expertise with optical and electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters (DMMs), Optical Spectrum Analyzers (OSAs), and Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs). Strong comprehension of communication protocols (USB, I2C, SPI, serial communications, etc.). Capability to process, analyze, and visualize test data to inform design decisions and enhancements.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are on the lookout for a Senior Test Engineer to play a crucial role in the development and validation of our atomic clock product pilot line. As part of the New Product Introduction Team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in hardware, software, and R&D to formulate and execute testing strategies, configure and connect test equipment, and automate testing processes for the pilot line. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in test automation, scripting, hardware validation, and embedded systems testing within a Linux environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft, refine, and implement test strategies and plans for atomic clock systems and their subsystems.
  • Lead the definition of End of Line test plans for new products and features in partnership with firmware, software, and hardware design teams.
  • Design and set up optical and electrical test benches for system integration.
  • Conduct compliance, robustness, and reliability testing on electronic and optical subsystems.
  • Assist in board bring-up and debugging, providing valuable feedback to design teams.
  • Develop and sustain an automated testing platform utilizing Python.
  • Operate and interface with a variety of electrical and optical laboratory testing equipment.
  • Process and visualize test data, employing scripting and analytical tools to derive actionable insights.
  • Engage with Git-based software development workflows to manage, version, and collaborate on test software.
