About the job

As a Senior Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be the key technical strategist, connecting intricate business challenges with innovative technology solutions. Your role will involve leading the design and architecture of integrated ecosystems that include Enterprise Infrastructure, Data/AI, Application Delivery, and Comprehensive Cyber Security. Your mission is to be a trusted advisor, delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure environments that yield measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Strategy & Hybrid Architecture

  • Integrated Design: Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate compute, storage, virtualization, and backup with a focus on security.
  • Domain Expertise: Design high-availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) frameworks using industry-leading technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure Storage, etc.). Tailor Data and AI solutions to meet specific use cases or customer needs.
  • Physical Infrastructure: Lead Data Center design, addressing rack/cabinet layouts, complex power planning (N+1, 2N redundancy, PDU distribution), and DCIM tool integration.
  • Modernization: Identify opportunities to migrate legacy workloads to modern, containerized, or cloud-hybrid application environments.

2. Technical Leadership & Consultation

  • Discovery & Analysis: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to align customer workloads and business needs with technical gaps in their current setup.
  • HLD/LLD Excellence: Create comprehensive High-Level and Low-Level Designs that serve as blueprints for both sales approval and post-sales implementation.
  • Proof of Value (PoV): Lead complex POCs and technical workshops that showcase the tangible value of proposed multi-vendor solutions.

3. Cyber Security Integration

  • Resilience by Design: Ensure all infrastructure and application proposals adhere to industry security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Data Protection: Design immutable backup architectures and ransomware recovery strategies using tools like Rubrik, Cohesity, and Zerto.
  • Threat Surface Reduction: Incorporate security layers into the infrastructure stack to mitigate risks of lateral movement and data exfiltration.

4. Bid Management & Proposal Development

  • Strategic Proposals: Craft technical responses for high-value RFPs/RFIs, ensuring solutions are both commercially viable and technically superior.
  • BoM Precision: Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BoM) with detailed technical justifications to prevent scope creep.
