Position Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Evolved Strategic Systems (ESS) Program Systems Integration Engineer to join our dynamic Systems Engineering team. This team is responsible for shaping the future of space communication systems that support the Air Force Military Satellite Communications. The successful candidate will engage in Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities within a multidisciplinary and collaborative framework. You will be expected to collaborate with SE&I team members, contractors, government personnel, and members of the USAF. This role includes leading and supporting multiple working groups to facilitate technical discussions, identify and mitigate risks, address requirement gaps, create briefings, track action items, and document meeting minutes.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) initiative offers advanced SE&I capabilities for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center. We play a crucial role in the acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, ensuring secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s military personnel. We are seeking technically adept individuals who can thrive in a highly collaborative small team environment, utilizing the latest tools and methodologies to overcome the complexities of integrating sophisticated space and ground communication systems. This position is based on-site in El Segundo, CA. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing integration strategies and processes to ensure the successful integration of satellite communication systems, segments (Ground, Space, Crypto, Terminals), subsystems, elements, and components; managing the technical baselines among various stakeholders.
  • Conducting thorough analyses of system requirements that define the technical frameworks necessary for successful project execution.
