Role Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Procurement manages procurement and logistics activities for PXGEO, ensuring these processes meet company standards and safety requirements. This position works closely with technical and operational teams, both onshore and offshore, and supports functions in Dubai, Houston, and other operational sites. The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Main Responsibilities

  • Follow Company Management System Procedures in all procurement activities.
  • Support corporate teams in Houston and Dubai, as well as other operational locations.
  • Assist with negotiating contracts and fuel rates for bunker providers, and manage related commercial agreements.
  • Review and negotiate supplier quotations, focusing on commercial and contractual terms, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders for corporate and expenditure needs to suppliers listed on the Approved Vendor List (APL).
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop negotiation strategies when needed.
  • Select suppliers based on competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Draft Non-Conformities Reports (NCR) based on vendor performance and quality standards.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding and evaluate ongoing supplier performance.
  • Update and distribute the Expediting Worksheet and Agent Feedback Report regularly.
  • Maintain organized records of purchase orders, both in physical and electronic formats.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with all suppliers.
  • Participate in the Emergency Response team as described in the Emergency Response Plan.
  • Monitor compliance with procurement processes and help maintain procurement databases and archives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and implement these initiatives.
