The Lidar Integration and Test team, responsible for systems engineering, integration, and testing of FirstLight lidar products, is in search of a Senior Staff Lidar Systems Engineer.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead development and updates of dFMEA throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assist in generating requirements from top-level specifications down to subsystems.
- Lead and support the creation of Functional Safety Concepts and corresponding requirements.
- Contribute to the design and development of in-process and end-of-line hardware test stations for deployment in Lidar manufacturing environments.
- Engage in algorithm development for system integration and optimization tasks.
- Support optimization of systems and subsystems (both hardware and software) through various stages of the hardware development cycle (A-sample, B-sample, C-sample, SOP).
- Collaborate with the lidar embedded software team to develop and validate functional safety concepts and conduct fault injection testing.
