Role overview

This Senior Research Associate position sits within the Analytical Development team, specifically the Process Analytics sub-team. The role is full-time and requires on-site laboratory work in Louisville, Colorado, five days a week.

What you will do

  • Support in-process testing for Lentiviral Vector (LVV) drug substances and products.
  • Carry out routine sample testing and assist in developing new analytical methods.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of current analytical methods.
  • Improve assay execution, data quality, and turnaround time by implementing automation, including AI and Ganymede for data capture and analysis.
  • Use a variety of molecular, cellular, biophysical, and biochemical protocols.
  • Work with other departments to test LVV samples and contribute to Umoja’s pipeline.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with molecular, cellular, biophysical, and biochemical assay protocols.
  • Ability to work on-site in Louisville, CO, five days per week.
  • Proficiency in assay execution, data analysis, and method development.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and data management platforms, including AI and Ganymede.
  • Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
