About the job

The Senior Product Manager - Financial Crime (KYC/KYB) will lead the development and optimization of Ebury’s Know Your Customer and Know Your Business processes. Based in Madrid, this hybrid role requires four days per week in the office and one day remote. The position sits within the Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain and reports directly to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product.

Role overview

This role focuses on managing the full KYC/KYB lifecycle for clients, including individuals, SMEs, and complex corporate structures. The Senior Product Manager will define and refine customer identification, risk assessment, and ongoing risk monitoring processes. As Ebury enters new markets and product areas, maintaining strong compliance while supporting business growth will be a central challenge.

What you will do

  • Balance customer experience, growth, and risk management throughout onboarding and client lifecycle stages.
  • Develop KYC/KYB strategy in line with Financial Crime Intelligence Product goals and company vision.
  • Translate strategic objectives into an actionable roadmap for KYC and KYB workflows.
  • Address onboarding and regulatory requirements that vary by jurisdiction.
  • Design and implement improvements to customer journeys, verification steps, dynamic Customer Risk Rating systems, ongoing due diligence, and scheduled reviews.

Stakeholder management

  • Collaborate with operational and compliance teams to ensure controls are effective, transparent, and audit-ready.
  • Work closely with operations to enhance case management, workflow reviews, and supporting tools.

This position offers the chance to shape how Ebury manages financial crime risk while supporting the company’s global expansion.
