About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager to revolutionize the authorization process in healthcare, an area fraught with complexity, delays, and inefficiencies. Your mission is to streamline the prior authorization experience, alleviating burdens for members and providers while reducing costs for payers.
As part of the Authorization Services team, you will help shift utilization management from a reactive approval process to a proactive, intelligent system that directs members to the appropriate care, potentially eliminating the need for manual authorizations entirely.
This role is pivotal to Oscar's next phase of innovation, offering a unique opportunity to leverage AI in enhancing core healthcare workflows. You will develop scalable decision-making systems such as auto-approvals, intelligent routing, and proactive guidance, ultimately enhancing the experiences of both members and providers while driving significant cost efficiencies.
You will report directly to a Staff Product Manager.
Work Location:
This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with three in-office days per week. Thursdays are mandatory in-office days for team meetings and events, while your other two days can be tailored to fit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this role ranges from $163,944.00 to $215,176.50 annually. This position also includes comprehensive employee benefits, access to Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
