Required Certification and Education:Current CCIE certification is a must. Bachelor's degree in a relevant information technology field is preferred or equivalent work experience. Required Experience/Skills:At least five years of experience managing local-area and wide-area networks. Proven ability to implement Cisco routers, switches, VPNs, and VLANs with a focus on secure and highly available designs. Solid understanding of network physical infrastructure, including patch panels and fiber cabling. In-depth knowledge of Cisco device configuration, operation, and maintenance. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Expertise with Cisco Nexus Switches (2k, 5k, 7k, and 9k) and Cisco Catalyst 6500 VSS. Strong administration skills in enterprise DHCP/DNS environments. Thorough understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing/switching and experience with OSPF and BGP protocols. Proficiency with MS Visio and the MS Office Suite.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in both design and operations. A current CCIE Routing/Switching or CCIE Data Center certification or equivalent experience is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and designing state-of-the-art data center, campus area network, wide-area network, and high-speed Internet services.
  • Implementing and managing advanced troubleshooting, capacity planning, architectural design, and best practice assessments.
