We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer with a strong background in epoxy applications to join our dynamic US team. In this role, you will oversee and refine manufacturing processes, enhance assembly techniques—both manual and automated—and spearhead the development of manual tools, with a particular focus on gluing processes. You will be equally adept at engaging hands-on on the factory floor and guiding Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives during new product development across all leadership levels. This hybrid position requires in-office attendance three days a week, allowing for collaboration with R&D engineers, factories, and external partners as needed, ensuring our product designs meet excellence in manufacturability. What You'll Do: - Leverage your expertise to influence product design for optimized manufacturing, assembly processes, and tooling. Collaborate with equipment suppliers to create innovative solutions for current and future products. - Develop and implement assembly and material handling processes from the initial design phase to full factory integration, working closely with external partners and internal teams to enhance the manufacturability of Oura products. - Optimize gluing process performance focusing on quality and throughput metrics. - Coordinate activities between Oura's R&D programs and factories to ensure manufacturing readiness, timely prototype builds, and effective factory ramp-ups. - Evaluate manufacturing and assembly methods from a quality perspective to guarantee customer satisfaction.
