The Lab Manager acts as the main point of contact for equipment, facilities, vendors, and lab staff, handling procurement, compliance, and organization. The position is hands-on and requires both operational skill and technical understanding. What You Will Do Direct daily lab operations to maintain a safe, organized, and productive workspace. Handle procurement for lab equipment, components, and consumables, including vendor coordination and inventory tracking. Maintain lab infrastructure such as workbenches, utilities, gas and vacuum systems, and general workspace organization. Coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment. Support researchers by preparing lab spaces and ensuring experiment readiness. Create and update lab safety protocols, documentation, and training materials. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and institutional regulations. Monitor and manage shared resources to keep essential equipment available and operational. Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks in experimental work. Assist with onboarding new team members into the lab environment.
