As a Senior Manager of Field Engineering at Databricks, you will report directly to the Director of Field Engineering for Healthcare and Life Sciences. In this influential role, you will lead a dynamic team of pre-sales Solutions Architects, specializing in high-profile, complex healthcare insurance accounts. Your leadership will be crucial in collaborating with the sales organization to implement advanced solutions in enterprise software, big data analytics, data engineering, and data science.

Your Impact:

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and cultivate a high-achieving team of Solutions Architects while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Empower your team to master technical complexities, identify critical use cases, and design impactful proof of concepts.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for the ongoing success and growth of the Solutions Architect team.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Sales Excellence / Databricks Consumption:

  • Drive sales target achievements in your region by guiding the Solutions Architect team in qualifying use cases and showcasing technical expertise.
  • Lead your team to establish themselves as trusted advisors throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Guide your team to excel in technical qualifications, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, product demonstrations, and implementation planning.
  • Play a vital role in securing technical victories in complex sales cycles.

Customer Success and Value Delivery:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by enabling them to leverage Databricks solutions, delivering significant value to their operations.
