Senior IT Project Manager - Life & Employee Benefits

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Clearly define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for successful delivery. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives and timelines. Assist in developing business cases and project justifications. Ensure technology solutions and services meet company standards and user needs. Leadership & Team Management Establish project team structure and define roles and responsibilities. Guide team direction, allocate tasks, and inspire team members to achieve project objectives. Coordinate activities across various organizational functions to ensure alignment and efficiency. Promote a collaborative, transparent, accountable, and results-driven team environment. Risk & Issue Management Identify, document, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies. Devise mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project success. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting Act as the primary liaison for project sponsors, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Prepare and present clear, concise status reports and updates to project teams and executive stakeholders. Lead communications with steering committees and senior management to ensure transparency and alignment. Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 4–8 years of project management experience overseeing medium to large-scale projects. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Life and Employee Benefits Insurance is essential. Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and tools. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
