Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with inverter hardware designers to define, manage, and trace requirements using tools such as Polarion or DOORS. Create and maintain design templates, review checklists (including schematics, layouts, BOMs), and standardized documentation for the team. Conduct reviews of critical design analyses, including DFMEAs, WCCA, margin/derating, and thermal assessments. Develop comprehensive hardware development plans, verification strategies, and other AEH certification materials. Lead design reviews to ensure accurate implementation and traceability of requirements. Work closely with designers to document and justify design decisions for certification. Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.7+ years of systems engineering experience, particularly with power electronics or complex hardware in regulated environments. Familiarity with structured hardware development processes, such as DO-254.Robust technical knowledge of inverters, power converters, or motor drive systems. Experience in circuit-level analyses (WCCA, derating, stress analysis) and conducting design reviews. Proficiency in requirements management tools like Polarion or DOORS. Exceptional technical communication and documentation abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within design teams.

As a Hardware Systems Engineer within our inverter design team, you will play a pivotal role in steering the systems engineering processes necessary for the certification of Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH). Your collaboration with circuit designers will be crucial in establishing requirements, creating design templates and checklists, reviewing analyses, and ensuring that our hardware meets stringent certification standards.
