The Senior Global Product Master Data Manager role is based in London and centers on leading the global Product Master Data function. This position shapes standards, ensures data quality, and aligns data practices with business needs across multiple systems and teams.
Main responsibilities
- Establish and uphold global standards for Product Master Data.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across PDM and ERP systems.
- Lead initiatives to enhance data quality and improve related processes.
- Mentor and guide a team of data analysts, assigning tasks and managing priorities.
- Drive a collaborative and accountable team environment.
- Serve as an advisor to teams throughout the organization on product master data matters.
- Translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- Support system upgrades and integration projects.
- Investigate data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate the distribution of pricing and product data to relevant teams and systems.
- Prepare ad hoc reports related to pricing and product master data.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to promote adherence to data standards.
Collaboration
This position reports to the Head of Supply Chain Global Operations. Regular interaction with cross-functional teams is a key part of the role.
Candidate profile
- University degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in Product Master Data Management.
- Strong communication abilities and experience managing stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and methodologies.
