Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions to design and document scalable features. Develop backend APIs and frontend components utilizing expertise in Node.js, Next.js, and SQL. Participate in weekly meetings with the ITS team to discuss project advancements and share ideas. Collaborate across various departments to uncover and solve operational challenges. Foster and contribute to thatgamecompany’s unique culture and visionary goals. Key QualificationsProfessional ExperienceA minimum of 4 years of professional programming experience. Proficiency in building modern REST APIs using Node.js. Experience in developing TypeScript packages. Familiarity with contemporary front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Hooks). Adept in designing data structures and querying relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB. Knowledge of Git version control systems. Experience with cloud service providers including AWS and Google Cloud. Problem-Solving SkillsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset in dynamic environments. Capacity to excel in a collaborative atmosphere involving cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
