At Econodata, a startup backed by the Telefonica Group and founded by former UFRGS students, we heavily invest in AI and Big Data. Our B2B Intelligence and Prospecting Platform enables users to access and segment data from all 23 million companies in Brazil.
We have major clients such as PagBank, TOTVS, Unimed, and BASF, in addition to over 3,000 small and medium-sized enterprises.
We are looking for a Tech Lead or Senior Developer who is eager to take on a strategic and technical role within our largest acquisition channel. Our website attracts 10 million organic visits per month and boasts tens of millions of indexed pages.
Our tech stack includes Vue 3 + Nuxt, Node.js, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and cloud services from GCP, with significant use of Azion for caching, security, and performance enhancement.
You will be tasked with steering the technical direction of our platform, leading performance decisions (Core Web Vitals, auto-scaling, crawl optimization, etc.), and collaborating with Product, SEO, RevOps, and Engineering to maintain and scale a critical infrastructure for the company's growth, while delivering new features and free tools.
This is a strategic position with direct contact with the company's founders, allowing for a substantial impact on business outcomes.
Challenges You Will Encounter:
Act as tech lead, making architectural and process decisions.
Optimize performance for massive-scale crawlers, particularly Googlebot and AI systems.
Reduce latency and costs with caching solutions, architectural refinements (Node, Elastic, GCP).
Address technical issues impacting SEO (rendering, indexability, real and perceived performance).
Collaborate with the Product and SEO teams to shape the technical backlog.
Implement robust observability practices, auto-scaling, and reliability engineering.
Provide technical support for integrations with RD Station, Pipedrive, Blip.
