Senior Frontend Engineer, Alerting
This is a remote opportunity, and we welcome applications from candidates based in the UK.
Your Role:
The Grafana Alerting team is integral to the Grafana open-source project (link), with the mission to develop advanced features for users to manage their alerts efficiently. Our backend-focused team collaborates closely with customers and the Grafana Cloud teams to enable alerting capabilities both on-premises and at scale in the cloud.
Given the breadth of our domain, here are some recent projects we've tackled:
- Developing distributed systems to enhance the scale of alert ingestion and delivery for Prometheus-based alerts.
- Standardizing alert setup and delivery processes for both Grafana and Prometheus-based alerts.
- Creating distributed systems capable of evaluating Grafana-managed alerts at an astonishing rate of over 500 evaluations per second in production.
